What is agent negligence?

Agent negligence is when your insurance agent makes a mistake that negatively impacts your insurance coverage. Examples of this include when the agent secures the wrong type of coverage or advises you to secure the wrong type of coverage, or when the agent makes mistakes during the claims process by submitting incorrect documents.
