Will my employer find out if I am convicted of domestic violence?

In Florida, there is no rule that states your employer must be notified for a domestic violence conviction. However, do you keep in mind, these are public records, so your employer could look into it and they could find out that way. Sometimes if you’ve been placed on probation for domestic violence, the court could require proof of employment. In that instance, what we can do is, we can motion the court to allow you to prove the employment, via a paystub, so your employer does not have to be notified.
